Day Poem One.

Eclipsed, opening, pulsating ejection and ring so bound.

Attention, gaze, anticipated breath as torn shroud.

Crimson stream, baulking gush,

muddy water stream in effortless push.

Blackened sheen, expectant surge,

hopes and fears, baited breath, hold still to purge.

hands waiting in cupped open prayer,

unveiling, expulsion, emotion stir.

Tears hang on before the fall,

swell does the movement, captivated, us all.

At last release, fast forward play as crescendo observes,

sigh and gasp, tear thought from those that serve.

Rest not but embrace in discovering adoration,

fingers, hands, gender exploration.

Discovery of new shores, called home, ahoy.

As mother sobs for girl or boy.
